There are two semesters each year:
Winter semester: September - February

Summer semester: March - August

Standard period of study is 6-7 semesters, depending on the program.

There are no programs available in English, the language of instruction in all the THB degree courses is German. Individual modules are taught in English.

The minimum time period is usually between 2-4 weeks.

The state of Brandenburg does not charge tuition fees. Brandenburg University only charges a semester contribution, which is approximately 315 EUR. The semester ticket (public transit pass) is included in this contribution. However, there may be additional fees for certain master’s degree courses and correspondence (distance) courses.

Semester tickets must be paid in advance before the semester starts and installments are not possible.

THB offers a variety of on-campus facilities including green areas, student library, cafeteria, canteen, leisure facilities, and football and beach volleyball courts.

Technische Hochschule Brandenburg provides foreign students with accommodation in a student hall of residence located on the university campus. Please note that you cannot live in the student hall of residence if you have already studied for more than 10 semesters or if you are more than 30 years old.

For students who prefer to or have to live off-campus, the "Allgemeiner Studentenausschuss" student union committee (AStA) provides a service ("Referat für Soziales") which offers assistance with finding accommodation.Email: astasoziales@th-brandenburg.de

By Train: The nearest train station to Technische Hochschule Brandenburg is Brandenburg Hauptbahnhof (Brandenburg Central Station). You can take a train to Brandenburg Hauptbahnhof from major cities like Berlin, Potsdam, and Magdeburg. From the station, you can either walk or take public transportation to reach the university campus.

By Bus: There are several bus routes that connect different parts of Brandenburg an der Havel, including stops near the university campus. You can check the local bus schedule and routes to find the most convenient option.
