German Foundation Year — Technical & Business
A super-intensive programme combining German language preparation, foundation subjects and academic methodology. It is designed for students who have completed school with good grades and already have a clear study direction.
Outcome
Bachelor’s degree pathway.
Duration
One year or one and a half years of foundation preparation, followed by the Bachelor’s degree.

- High school leaving certificate.
- Required language certificates depend on the selected programme length.
Foundation Standard State Track
A suitable option if you need equivalence with the German Abitur before entering a German university programme.
Course description
- 32 weeks of language preparation.
- Four weeks of mathematics training and exam preparation.
- One-year Foundation Programme (Studienkolleg).
- Access to undergraduate degree programmes at German state universities.
Duration
First year: language preparation. Second year: foundation course. Years three to five: Bachelor’s degree.

Higher Secondary School Certificate and the required certified translations.
